Internships at AINC

The Audio Information Network of Colorado (AINC)’s internship program is a unique opportunity to explore the audio information industry, podcasting, journalism, and the non-profit sector. We give interns hands on experience with practical applications, and the opportunity to learn from trained professionals.

AINC is a non-profit organization that provides audio editions of print materials for individuals who are blind, low vision or print impaired. We are seeking motivated and talented interns to join our team and support our mission.

These internships are designed for students who want to learn how these industries work and gain professional skills to use in future careers.

Open positions:

Guest Acquisition Intern

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to work with the Programming Team. You will research, vet, and schedule guests for all of AINC’s original Podcasts.

Responsibilities: 

  • Curating guests for AINC’s Original Podcasts.
  • Scheduling appointments with guests.
  • Researching potential guests to appear on the podcast.
  • Conducting pre-show interviews with guests. (After thorough training)
  • Creating and recording PSAs.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Strong people skills and ability to adapt to different personalities.
  • Familiarity with technology and research skills.
  • Creativity, charm, and quick thinking.
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and sales skills.
  • No prior podcasting experience necessary.

Other details:

  • Summer and Fall internships available!
  • 10-20 hours/week.
  • Remote
